Meet the founder.
Jon-L Innocent grew up in St. Lucia and studied Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Columbia University. That training led him into semiconductors, where the difference between a working part and a failed one can be measured in atoms. Working at that scale taught him to take every step of the process seriously.
Two years living and working in Japan deepened that attention to detail. It built on what he had learned as a collegiate athlete: how much of a result depends on work nobody watches.
That attention carried into the way he looked at businesses. Again and again, he noticed the same problems in companies that otherwise had little in common. People had learned to work around them, but kept paying for them in money and time. They’d lived with those problems for so long that they’d stopped seeing them as something they could change.
He started KnovaLabs to build software for those problems.
Solving one could mean more money coming in, less money going to waste, and more time for life outside the business.
